Reporting does not match reality
Source-to-report logic is unclear, metrics are disputed, or leaders need a trusted view of performance.
Robert Wright helps businesses design, stabilize, govern, and improve the data platforms behind reporting, operations, and decision-making. Bring Arkvyr in for focused projects, inherited systems, architecture decisions, or hands-on delivery when the data work needs senior attention.
When to call
Arkvyr is built for teams that need experienced hands close to the data, not a generic advisory layer. Robert works across business context, platform constraints, source systems, SQL logic, reporting needs, and delivery pressure.
Source-to-report logic is unclear, metrics are disputed, or leaders need a trusted view of performance.
Systems were inherited from employees, vendors, or carve-outs and need to be understood, documented, and stabilized.
A project needs someone who can design the model, write the SQL, build the pipeline, and explain the tradeoffs.
Teams need practical guidance on data platforms, governance, marts, gold layers, and reporting architecture.
How I help
Work can be a defined build, a technical rescue, a design review, transition support, or a focused engagement alongside your existing team.
Design and build ETL, pipelines, PostgreSQL data stores, Airflow workflows, Python automation, and handoffs between source systems and analytics platforms.
Create reporting-ready models, gold layers, dashboards, BI data sets, SSAS cubes, executive metrics, and operational views that teams can defend and reuse.
Clarify how data should move, relate, aggregate, and be governed across warehouses, marts, lakehouse layers, business domains, and reporting tools.
Document inherited systems, map source-to-report logic, define metadata and ownership, and support teams when internal knowledge or vendor support is missing.
About Robert
Arkvyr is Robert Wright's trading company for independent data consulting and project delivery.
Robert works with businesses that need senior data judgment and hands-on execution in the same engagement. He helps teams make complex data platforms understandable, reliable, governed, and useful for reporting and decision-making.
The work is technical enough to sit in SQL, models, pipelines, metadata, and platform design, but business-facing enough to help leaders make decisions about reporting, operations, staffing, performance, risk, and growth.
Engagement model
Arkvyr is set up for focused, senior-level work: a defined project, a critical data problem, a short architecture engagement, or targeted support while your internal team keeps moving. Robert is Netherlands-based and works with clients across Europe, North America, and global teams.
Project work
Greenfield BPO data platform
A BPO carve-out needed a complete data architecture for operations across Asia, LATAM, the US, and Europe. The environment had to integrate call center data across 27 clients into a single warehouse while still supporting client-specific reporting needs.
Created a scalable and repeatable pattern for enterprise reporting, client reporting, and call center performance management. The business achieved key transformation results from the carve-out, including more than 120 metrics per employee per client and a Bill to Pay reporting output that helped reduce unbillable labor by 15% in the first three months.
Governance risk platform architecture
A Fortune 500 financial services company needed data modeling and architecture design for a governance risk compliance platform. The work defined a data lake architecture and Databricks reporting model organized around bronze, silver, and gold data layers.
Replaced a legacy set of hard-to-manage IBM Cognos reports with repeatable patterns for data reporting and aggregation. New report delivery improved from roughly three months to two weeks.
Dynamic employee aggregation layer
A large enterprise BPO company with global operations needed a dynamic aggregation layer that could turn bronze and silver data into a reporting-ready gold layer for employee performance management. The environment had to handle customer-specific source systems across ACDs, workforce management, payroll, HR, customer satisfaction, and other operational platforms.
Created a self-healing reporting layer that supported daily management visibility, reduced manual intervention, and made it possible to aggregate performance data consistently across 60 business units.
Financial forecasting model
A consulting firm focused on regulatory and risk platforms and advisory services needed a custom data model to forecast revenue, future demand, and staff requirements across four legal entities and global support needs. The model had to account for complex pricing and billing mechanisms across T&M, fixed fee, and project-based engagements.
Enabled leadership to forecast staffing needs, costs, and revenue more accurately and make better planning decisions as demand shifted across multiple engagement types.
Platforms and tools
Arkvyr supports the platforms and tools that enterprise data teams rely on for storage, modeling, reporting, analytics, and delivery.
